I inhaled a lot of bondo dust. I started cleaning off the replacement bed I acquired. Saw a funny body line... yeah was 1/2 thick bondo over an old repair.

Also in the same shop my brother is building a 65 Ford... he was swapping in a 5 speed manual.... nightmare of Ford doing weird transmission stuff just to make things difficult.

Have since fixed the 2 speed rear end, fixed a bunch of cab and under hood wiring, and started rewiring the whole bed for lights stripped all 40 somthing of the old lights off, sanded, pressure washed, and repainted the whole bed

Waiting on FedEx today, thought that it's time to get going on things.

The 16.5s just aren't going to work out right now, and I need to verify my suspicion concerning which drum the 14bff is sporting. Yup, 13" drums.
That makes sense, considering that it's camper special.

Looks like these lug nuts land in the right place, so time to put on the bling.

Bling, plus pressure washer brings back the motivation to move forward. Having a budget now helps too ;)

Nicest hundred dollar set of rims I've ever had the pleasure to install on anything. Brakes and bearings are first up.

I added an air dam to my truck. It didn't add as much in the looks department as I hoped for. I had to cut into 3 pieces in order for it to clear the tow (recovery) hooks. You can see on the back side where it hit the hooks. I also ordered the hardware kit. I didn't have the bolts, and the OE clip nut threads were rusted out.

I also added a sill plate to cover up some rust. I cut these with a cut off wheel. I used double sided tape to attach them. I couldn't see paying $$ for the ones from LMC. You can also see some of my beer can body work in the pic.:D The plate needed to be a little longer in length, but it's what I had from a previous project. I also saw this on the way home from the store. I kind of like it. The ultimate TX Edition.

Pulled & parked the plow off the K20. Officially called the season. Impressed w/ the way Rustoleum Massey Ferguson grey held up for the winter. Filled the temporary tank w/ 90 octane non ethanol & she seems to like it.

Scraped more paint off the box side, mostly without the heat. It came off pretty easily except the areas that are still yellow. Gonna hit those with the heat gun tomorrow when the metal is a little colder to see if it lifts easier. This is a huge time saver. I’ll probably attack the fenders soon while the temps are cooler. It feels good when things go easier and making good progress.

No great milestone for most folks but the last couple of months have been great for me, I’ve been driving the Blazer a bunch and entered it in a couple of car shows for sheets & giggles. I’m really enjoying it.

As soon as I can get tires and new wood on my trailer I’ll drag it somewhere to play.

I drove a ford- A 74 F250. It was so bad that my "Ralph" felt like a caddy lack. It's one of my next customer cars (or truck) coming in next month. If you imagine doing almost nothing to a truck for 50 years you can imagine how it rides. Suspension drooping in front so it rides on its twin I-beam front suspension bump stops. Engine just-Not tuned or serviced. He did the brakes, and they were still awful. One full quarter turn of play in the steering.. Wouldn't start, and after 10 minutes of driving, stalling out. Lots more, but, gee, A little dyna mat and some spit and polish.. about 10K worth, this could be a good truck. My Ralph is a jewel by comparison. I'm only going to get this motor running, or diagnose its issues, so he can sell the ford..
