This guy actually used.120 wall 1/8" for those that don't know wth that is lol pretty common and a lot of people say they prefer it not to thick so they give in instead of damage to the frame plenty of examples of .120 wall being used but I agree seems thin for my big ol 1tonIs that box tube from a carport or something? That stuff with formed ends is usually pretty thin and won't provide any crash protection. Probably won't support the weight of the truck either, for it to be a slider.
