Dang man, that kid is getting huge! Little guy was so tiny before, now it looks like he'll be driving grandpa's truck in no time lol
Yes Kevin, he has come a long ways. Still underweight but all the other problems are pretty much behind him.

Ive been lookin into intakes all day today and i came across one on craigslist with a 671 on top and i got all tingly lol but the $2800 tag scared me away.
Price a new one. I would be leery at that price without checking the rotors. Take the plunge Ted. A little at a time until you have all that is needed.

Awesome to hear! And yeah, I suppose being a little small for his age is to be expected, especially since most kids his age are technically still a few months younger than him, but otherwise he's looking good and strong :waytogo:

Took Heath out with me this evening for a shakedown. All went well. Running strong light to light. New tires are gripping the street like I was hoping.
But...after a year hiatus, the curse of the cruise has once again fell on me. Will try to keep this as short as I can.
We pulled into the station to fill up but crap...WTH is the key to the gas cap that was on the ignition key ring? Oh well, must be on my other ride set. Go home, look, & no key. Reflecting back, when I replaced the ignition & door lock cylinders for 1 key fits all, I’m thinking I had a senior moment. When I tossed the old cylinders, I tossed the keys also...with the gas key still attached. This was around 7 PM tonight. While Tina is calling the lock smith, I was tear the garage apart. Can’t even find the spare that came with it after tearing the garage further apart along with the house. So I have an appt with the smith @8 AM.

Now here we sit at home, without much fuel & no way to put any in:mad::mad:.
I must admit Joe, every time I see yours, I want to start doing body work on my c10.....

I personally haven't done a whole lot to my stuff. I spent all of last week taking apart a tiller down to the gear box to machine and weld some components, then reassemble with a new carb and some other goods...

The c10s axle is all out, it's been sandblasted and painted, every single little piece.

I've been working side gigs to pay for the Detroit truetrac and axle shafts to put in...

You can have a gander at my progress with the last couple of pages in this thread:

The suburban got all put back together after the fire, I drive it from time to time, but being as gas is killing us all, I drive the lumina more... but the burb is about to get a new AC compressor and then another freshening on the AC system with a vacuum and charge.

The old r20 pump just couldn't take the pressures of the r134a anymore and it finally won't stay operable long... we intend on going to the beach in a couple months, so I got time to get it all serviced and ready.

Thinking this weekend or the next, I'll be putting it to work and towing the "1 ton" s10 out to the national forest for some trail riding....

I still haven't gotten around to turning the fuel pressure back up on the burb, but I will... eventually..... I wanted to ensure it'll run just as it should on a stock system before I make tweaks and tunes again.

A little over half the cost of a new one @ 4 grand. Only problem I see it's a BB. Does that mean you're stepping up?

Took it to pick up a new mower. Jegs sent me an email saying that my 700r4 won't be shipped till 6/7. I'm not surprised at all. Fjb!

not much happening to the GMC, we went and bought our bug out bus, 1997 Winnebago so we have something to live in in case we get fires up here!! Nothing fancy, got it for a good price and everything works!! Only 38,000 miles on it!! hopefully we never have to use it but we got it just in case. The "war dept." is getting it all outfitted with everything she want to have inside.
