What type are you talking about? One of the small B&M type that fit under stock hoods are supposed to be good for a stockish motor. If I ever strike it rich, I'd love to run one on a big block truck with one of the fancy new FI systems.
Yea, basically the most mild super you can run. I'm just curious if you run into valvetrain problems or specific cam requirements or minimum head specs that may be unusual. I'm a couple or years from putting a new engine in my truck and I'm playing with the ideas of a stock 350, a supercharged 350, or a 454. Weighing my options.
A carb tune on a sniffer machine. New spark plugs, maybe different heat range or at least gapped a little smaller and maybe upgraded ignition system. The extra pressure in the combustion chamber can extinguish a weak spark. And some timing adjustments probably.
I have no experience with superchargers but these are just my first thoughts on this subject.
