What did you replace factory radio with?

If I can find a faceplate just use that and some 4.5 in speakers in plywood box behind the seat....

This particular single din head unit works because it is shallow

While it isn't show truck pretty it works great in my old work truck. And it even connects to your phone.

That is a really slick solution. I like it!

They do, but not quite that shallow, mine is 3". I just got this JVC-M750BT for my '01 Suburban 2500. Metra made a complete dash face to replace the OEM 1.5 Din for a 2 Din radio. If I bought a CD player, I would have had to cut a support bar behind the radio. This solved the problem.

hmmm....wonder how well that would work in the center vent area. have to modify the dash cover of course.

My square still has the factory analog am/fm knob radio from 78', only gripe ive got is the single dash speaker lol i personally prefer the analog knob for tuning.
