What could this noise be?

So I noticed this noise after getting my new tires. It was not there when I test drove the truck originally, but that could just be because it's an on and off issue. Sometimes it just completely dissapears and other days it is there again. It almost sounds like it is inside the cab but I doubt it. It definitely sounds wheel speed related. I have no idea what this could be. Here is the video.

Is it only when you’re stepping on the brakes? If it’s only after new tires check to see if they put stick on weights inside the rim theatre hitting the calipers or drums. Also check lug nut torques.

x2 on the lug nuts. wouldn’t be the first one i have seen that a tire shop forgot to TQ them and the rim was moving on the studs

Sounds like the rim rubbing the caliper. Just barley touching it. Playing with the brakes shifts the caliper around enough to modulate the sound.

Well I had my local shop check the brakes and I assume that requires them to remove the wheels. Unless they didn't then that could be my issue.

The shop did tell me the shocks could use a replacement, but why do you think that be causing the noise?

If your bearings get the point of making noise... you will be greasing your NEW bearings. Get your hands dirty it's fun!

It sounds like something rubbing on the front rotor(s). Maybe a driveline noise but not likely. Weights, backwards pads, even new pads on ******, worn out rotors that didn’t bed in like they were supposed to... I’ve never heard a wheel bearing that sounded like that. I don’t think that’s it either, but it’s simple to check, replace and repack if needed. Have you tried jacking the front end and spinning the wheels or the rear and putting it in gear?

I haven't yet, but I'll be sure to do that. I just need to make sure my jack stands are safe first. I have harbor freight pittsburgh 6 ton jacks stands that seem to fall down. I think they are defective because the display model in the store didn't do the same thing.

How fast were you going does the noise slow down as the truck does? Also when its happening turn the truck off and see if it goes away.
