I bought a new plastic cover / grille for the cowl, it came with 2 brackets and no instructions. What are the brackets for? I know l will get help here, thanks in advance, Dave.

Those attach to the front of the cowl screen and once attached screw to the cab to hold it in place once the rear pointy things are in place so it doesn't flop around. Hope this helps. :cheers:

I bought a new cowl screen with the clips from USA1 for my k5.
Good quality. Didn't want to put a crusty on a restored truck.

They sent you the 81+ and you need the 70's?
Hopefully it won't be too painful.

Yea that's for sure the one from 81 up. If you have the earlier body style I knew right away that wasn't right .
