It features a large-diameter, mandrel-bent, dyno-tuned intake tube, an oversized conical high-performance aFe air filter, a heat shield, and a one-piece sealed housing with a built-in sight window for hassle-free filter inspection.
The one-piece airbox and heat shield of the aFe® Momentum® HD Stage 2 Cold Air Intake System are constructed from rugged 16-gauge powder-coated steel, providing both durability and strength to withstand the toughest conditions. The steel construction ensures that the airbox and heat shield can endure high temperatures and harsh environments, such as off-road adventures, construction sites, and extreme weather conditions. As the system allows the engine to suck in air more effectively, the intake noise itself can intensify, giving the engine a throatier, more robust growl when you push the accelerator.
