And tastes vary from person to person. I personally prefer crank windows, some don’t.
Even with old cars...
Take a 60s Camaro—I wouldn’t care about all the super rare options or numbers matching because I like it for the body and that doesn’t change. So as long as the outside looks period correct, I’d prefer modern suspension, brakes, trans, reliability, safety equipment, etc.
I think it’s cool when something is an original survivor, but would never go out of my way to pay 5-10x what I can get a clean roller for.
