hi I have a 1977 c10 with a 454 and I put a turbo 400 behind it. I went to drive it and nothing won’t go into any gear or move at all. I changed the vacuum modulator. Checked my vacuum on it. Swapped torque converters. Checked the governor gear also put a new valve body in it and still nothing. Any thoughts?

when you put the t400 in did you make sure the torque converter was in like its suppose to be? if not it will not move the front pump may be broke.

Sounds like a front pump 100%. Get a pressure gauge on there if you can, that'll be the final word. A good rule of thumb is that you shouldn't be able to stick your fingers behind the converter

When you move it to drive it won’t go into any gear at all just stays constant in neutral. So I disconnected the shifter and tried moving it on the transmission and still nothing

If it is the front pump can I just replace the front pump or do I have to rebuild the whole transmission?
