Hi every one! I was just browsing the web the other day, saw this site, and I said to myself "Self" I said "this is a site that you have to join". So I did. I have a currently-stock 1986 GMC Suburban 1500 4x4, 350/700R4/NP-208/9.5/10 bolt. Just imagine what a Suburban would look like if you drove 40 miles a day round trip on desert mountain roads to get to the mine, and then imagine it's that EXACT shade of blue or grey which you can never QUITE decide what color it's supposed to be. THAT'S IT! That's EXACTLY what it looks like! You guys are GOOD! Any way, I am sure I will have a lot of questions about what fits and what doesn't. At some point in the far far future, this will (hopefully) resemble an expedition vehicle.

Val, Old77, thanks for the welcome. Irish, thanks, and no, I don't work for Freeport. My business partner and I have some hard rock claims down by the border. I used to work the kettle korn unit at the Graham County fair every year, but never got to really SEE Safford. Any fishing around there?

The hard rock claims sound interesting, I know a good geologist if you need one.

You are not missing much by never seeing Safford, really not much at all. I am not actually in safford, I am nearby in Morenci. I dont fish but alot of people I know do and there is fishing around here, not really sure if its good or not though because I dont know **** about fishing.
