Tripod mirrors on lowered trucks?

So my truck came with the rpo DG4 for the stainless tripod mirrors. They are easy to see out of but, what are they going to look like on a lowered truck?

I have seen trucks my color even with the sport mirrors but they look kind of small and are difficult to see out of. Does anyone have pics of an early square with these tripods and a 4/6 drop?

I’m nearing the point of filling these holes if I want to switch from them and can’t decide.

That's the only style of the "tripod" mirrors I would use on something lowered. Run those or get the dumbo mirrors like most squares had.

Definitely wouldn't recommend the sport mirrors.

My 90 doors have these.
Just only look at the mirrors lol

I have them on my K5 and my stepside too. They are useful enough. No worse than the mirrors on my '90 SS or my Chevelle wagon. Actually, the Chevelle's mirrors may be less useful. Or my Impalas, they are as big as a truck but don't even have a mirror on the passenger side.

I don't own any cars but that cavalier so I wouldn't know

Small tripod mirrors or dumbos. Imo the sport mirrors are to small in relation to th size of the cab.

My truck is lowered, I have the sport mirrors. They are on the small side but sure do look the best.

This is what I want to go with. But mine isn't lowered. The tripods just look busy IMO.

imo, I'll take dumbo over the one's you have....or the sport. If you're hauling I understand the tripod.

That truck's got such killer patina and the mirrors match, no way I'd change them.
