Trim codes 77B and 77I

I looked up the RPO codes for when the truck was built. It shows 77B and 77I , DK Maple....my interior is a reddish maroon. Maybe it was changed out? I'm assuming dark maple is a brownish color.
Here is a pic of the sticker inside the glove box and a pic of the interior as I got the truck.

I can't access the 1987 Vehicle information kit and the 86 one does not show that color in it.

It does have 72 for a color. Is your truck a red single color exterior?
If so, I would assume you have Apple red exterior with a Burgundy interior.

The 4 digit exterior color code is U7475, I think it is "Standard Red"

The dark maple was a red-ish maroon or burgundy color. The brown interior should be the one sometimes called mahogany. Your seat is aftermarket and has faded to a much brighter red color.

The 4 digit exterior color code is U7475, I think it is "Standard Red"

That paint code "U7475" is the PPG code for GM paint code 72. GM called it Apple Red in 86', but it is also called standard Red or Bright red.

It looks like you have the exact color package as my 87 burb. You have 77D interior which is Burgundy and 72U exterior which is 72 apple red (I have 90 Steel as the 2 tone lower color). Many time you can find the color marked on the backside of the velour door panel insert or even the backside of the door/map pocket.
