Encountered the same phenomenon again today, after putting another 2k on the truck. Groaning going into 2nd and sometimes just wouldn’t. Adjusted the clutch and took it out for fuel. Drove like it normally does (no abnormal sounds, went into and out of gears effortlessly). I shut it off at the pump.

After getting fuel, the clutch pedal was almost too hard to depress. With some effort, I got it shifted into neutral, started the engine, shifted into gear and heard a horrible grinding/metallic sound (not typical gear grinding).

I shut it down and coasted it into a nearby parking spot. I’m now looking at having the clutch replaced by a shop.

Does South Bend still make a quality clutch? Are there any clutch other manufacturers that I should consider?

Thanks,

Eric
I plugged in K30 but it only had brake products, so I changed it to C30 and this is what hits I got...

EDIT: I didn't realize the copy and paste didn't show the hits.
