I have seen the idea thrown around a bit and a few have messed with it, but has anyone done a tow mirror swap with newer GM style mirrors on their square body? i'm willing to delete my wing window so that's not a problem for me. if anyone has done it or has info please let me know and share for other users as well. Don't necessarily need to lose your vent window. Here is how I saw one way of mounting...

Didn't see a full shot of the whole truck that showed the mirrors however.

What kind of mirrors do you have now? I have the original "tripod" mirrors, with the smaller mounts, that I use some flat stock extensions when I need them wider. Two bolts per side and done. And I keep the stock look.

i have the original chrome mirrors, but so limited to what i can see with them. i personally don't like the tri-pod or bugger style mirrors either nor do i want to bolt more into my door. so i was curious if anyone has put like 2000-newer gm mirrors on them yet.

Keep us posted. I'd like to see what you end up with. I have contemplated putting a set of super duty tow mirrors on mine, but that's much further down my priority list at the moment.
