I'll play...this is an old Mac box I picked up off craigslist for $100 11 years ago, it's my work box, cart most of my stuff around in a tool bag (75lbs of crap) though.

Still building my house, so no shop yet. Got tired of working in the dirt so rent a shop now, here is the layout of my tools.

Two craftsman rollaways that are meh; an ancient craftsman top box for machinist tools; a Proto rollaway with better drawer slides, and the basic harbor freight tool cart.

I wish I had that much space. When I eventually build my shop it will have an overhead crane in it......that's what I do so it only makes sense.

They pay me for the pleasure. Think that says more about them.
That's true. :laughing1: They certainly make the choice to take it up the ass. I have to stay off those trucks myself. I've bought a few tools off the SO truck, but not many. You almost have 50 posts, then you can let us know when there are some killer promos if there is such a thing.

Are you able to stock and carry any other tools to sell that you want on the truck or are you limited to the SO franchise and their brands? I thought about checking into getting a truck once when I heard a guy was going to be selling his route. I just knew better than to ask.

We are allowed to carry 10 percent of our total inventory that is non Snapon. So I can actually get away with a pretty good amount of outside sourced tools. I try to keep things mostly Snapon and our approved products though.

Our snap on guy sells gear wrench, but won't warranty without receipt, the matco guy doesn't care, he's not losing money, he's making more because we will buy more from him than snap on
