All my radios had the PA option, and I always had one hooked up, But I never actually used them. But I figured if it’s on the radio it might as well be hooked up.

I like the placement of it. I was trying to figure out where to put mine as I didn't really want to drill into the dash but at this point I know this truck is mine for life so do what I want with it, right? Just need to find out where a whip looks good on a Suburban...I don't have a roof rack yet

I hear ya. I want a whip also but I don't want to drill into the quarter panel. If this was the 90's I probably would have lol I'm thinking of some sort of bracket off the mirrors

My burb i had a mag mount in the center of the roof right above the rear hatch glass (mine was a 94 gmt400) it used to rub the ceiling at every drive through lol
