That's why most don't consider it a streetable cam. But, you can also find it in a hydraulic form too. It's a fairly radical cam.
Unless your running 4.11's with a 26" tire, 2600-2800rpm doesnt come that quick. and it takes a little to get into the power band, where as with 3.42's and 26"s 1800 comes quicker.
Exactly. Lousy cam for the street. That 302 motor only had 1 purpose and was never a major production engine option. Take a look at Isky 304 Mega Cam specs. That's one of the cams I ran in stop and go traffic in LA. With 4.56 gears and 3000 stall.
