Maybe but I do keep all the rubber seals and drains clean.
Proper maintenance is the key in a lot of cases. I believe in keeping weather stripping on my vehicles clean and lubed and in good shape

So, you must be awfully caught up with things to actually count them?

My mom bought one of the first 2500s, big mistake that was. GM ended up giving her an unheard of 200,000 mile warranty because it was back at the dealer every week for some electrical problem. The nail in the coffin for it was when she was driving back from Akron and thought the heated seats were on, instead they had caught on fire. She was lucky the truck didn't burn to the ground. GM replaced the seats and fixed the wiring but she parked it and bought an HHR panel. Then she let my brother trade it in on a new Duramax GMC.

I think the only major problem I've had with my truck is leaks, but I have fixed all of them since so it can be a very annoying and sucky problem, but still worth the time to just find them and fix them. Most of the leaks come from similar spots in every Avalanche, for example, the seals around electrical wires and weather stripping get old and break or completely come off. Chevy makes an awesome truck, just not too great interior and weathering... Still worth it tho #ChevyForLife

Amazing! I'm officially the 77th post. About nothing much at all! But turning it horizontal makes my neck hurt.
