I guess I sold my white painted grille for way too cheap. I don't remember how much I sold it for, but it was probably only 50 bucks.

You would think a place like LMC or USA1 would locate/buy the mold to remake them again. Wonder who it was that made them?

For what people are paying for the rear aluminum panels are going for, these would be a money maker.
Yes, you would think... I was told by the guys at Motor City K5
they were discontinued because there wasn’t enough demand.
But at $200-$250 or more..there’s gotta be a profit margin. IDK ?

There is one for sale in Florida. The ad says $50 and up depending on the grill. The 84 grill looks like it needs some work. I thought of going to get the 75 grill.

You used to be able to get a repop without a provision for the emblem
but the manufacturer discontinued it.

I actually have two similar to these at my place right now looking at refinishing them to my liking. Just would rather have an original but that seems like a pipe dream. Also 199 is absurd for plastic grilles. I bought both of the ones at home for under that combined. Brothers trucks sells them for 65 or something close to that. Thank you for your help tho! I appreciate it greatly.

We've repopped most all of the Chevy grilles and I've fought hard for at least a few of the GMC's to be made but the powers that be won't bite off on it. I told them '73/74, the '76 style one and '83/84 would absolutely sell but they haven't let me have my way yet. I've been thinking about buying a new computer/CAD software to do some side work and then I could get a 3D printer large enough to repop some of these. Maybe, we'll see how funds are next year.
