My brother and SIL are driving my Granddad's '94 LeSabre. At the time that they inherited it (probably 4 years or so ago now...maybe more) it was spotless with around 50k miles on it. It's a daily now and gets driven all over so it's not in nearly as good of shape anymore but at the time was a real nice ride.

Saw this in my neighborhood. One of the last 300 Park Avenues made. Love it. I would own one if I could find a cheap one.

Thats probably jacked up higher than an H1 with 40" wheels by now.
I dunno what it its, but the ghetto folk seem to love those Olds and Buick cars...cept I have not seen too many Rivieras ghetto'ed out.

Yeah, that daily driven stuff really takes its toll on any vehicle,at least in these parts it does with all the potholes in the halfassed paving jobs.
There is a "Very Nice" blazer at one of the yards I go scrapping at,it must a about an 03 model, all leather with all the bells-n-whistles,body is rust free and undamaged, I opened the door thinking WTF`s the matter wit this one, then the smell hit Me, it smelled "EXACTLY" like someone had died in that thing, I asked the owner if that was the case, He replied with, "Oh, no one died in it, the people that owned it are just not very tidy".I figure that there must be, or had been, a bag of raw meat left in that thing.:Insane:

Rivearas arent big enough to get many people into, and they dont draw attention like the 'BIG-OL sleds.

Confused :/ Not an A-body in this thread. Aren't these FWD cars N-bodies??? The late 70's-80's RWDs (Regal, Cutlass, Malibu) are G-bodies. I was expecting to see a lot of sick 60's-70's skylarks :D Have had several 67-72 Cutlass' all back in the day....A-bodies ;) One heavily setup for drag racing. Great drag cars, but these days the G-body is probably a better, and of course cheaper, choice. It was great stock until power increases induced the A-body shuffle....Some redneck engineering susp hacks cured that. Great handling road cars as well. One was a 70 442 W30 4sp, and just the thought of ever getting rid of that car makes me want to hurl. Front/rear sways, konis, 16" torkers, and tubular arms....way before resto-modding got big. I made money on it, but now I would probably make $100k on it, and still wouldn't sell it. Dumb kid.

My Mom had a Cutlass, it was`nt a 442 and it had the 350 with a powerslide transmission but that old car would really scoot.
She sold it to a dumb SOB that literally destroyed that car.
I sure would to like to have known that She was going to sell it,I`d a grabbed it right up.

Yeah, GM designated the FWD Century, Celebrity, Ciera and 6000 FWD. My Somersets were N bodies.

One of my favorite Centuries. 1986 Gran Sport. 1027 made. I've found 3 in salvage yards.

Were you able to save any of the special parts from them?

I'd love to have one of those cars. Or a LeSabre T. Or both.

Cool, learn something new every day. I see now after some quick research they basically have A-body (FWD), and A-body (RWD) designations.

Here's my 1995 Park Avenue Ultra, series 1 supercharged, air suspension. Last May I was rear ended by a semi and the Buick went to the wreckers.
