I was thinking about getting a toolbox and maybe installing more speakers.

Give me some ideas!

I like to keep mine clean. My wife likes to stick her purse back there when we go for bike rides/hiking etc. I also keep my guns back there whenever I go shooting.

I have the same pouch installed circa 84, keep a spare coil, other ignition parts and even have room for the deer rifle to slide in. Which when i was in high-school in the late fall 90% of boys with trucks with those also had the .30-06 included.... seemingly no one was bothered by that back in the mid 90's especially in a small Kansas town, how the old days were much better.

I normally keep things back there that I use all the time. Some rags, couple pairs of work gloves, small tool set, bungee cords, and maybe a ratchet strap. One advantage to bucket seats is I can put stuff back there that I can get to while on the road, like my thermos.

I also just got a battery jump starter that I keep behind my seat because I am bad for accidentally leaving my headlights on :(

Those Auto-On/Off Lights will spoil you, one thing i do like about driving the square body, the dimmer switch is in the proper location its feels more natural on the floor.

That was only on older squares. My dimmer switch is is on the dash. My father in law had a badass old Ford that was on the floor though and I enjoyed it.

'83 was the last year for the floor dimmer, but it's super easy to convert a new one.

I keep a extra distrubuter, my unlock tools, a small craftsman tool kit (130 peace), jump box, some rags, fuel filter, set of belts and whatever else slides through the seat in my wreckers lol Big thing is keep a extra distributer module there or in glove box with tools to change it if you run a V8. I bet I've changed 30 of them in my trucks most on side of the road. Most common break down for a square for me

I have a small tool bag, extra atf, oil, Marvel Mystery Oil, fire extinguisher, bungee cords, tarp, rope, coolant, and when the girlfriend is in there or the dogs, the windshield shade goes back there too.

When I do my first tune-up I will keep the old distributor, plug wires, coil and rotor and store them back there as well.
