I recently picked up a TH350 donor for my C10 to rebuild. In the process of disassembly, I came across a question. The valve body was modified (the previous owner used it for "desert racing"), bypassing the Direct Accumulator Piston and Intermediate Servo. The shaft for the Direct Accumulator Piston has been removed from the valve body and the piston was tapped and plugged.
My question is this: can I somehow replace that shaft in the valve body, or am I in it for a replacement valve body that retains the shaft?
I want to return to OEM function as this is a daily driver. Pics below for reference.
