It should have 4 wires I think.
1-to tip in switch
1-to the old 4-pin distributor power
1-ground
1-to the knock sensor
If you don't want to cut it, you can un hook the wire harness from the esc behind your glove box and remove the grommet from the firewall. I think they will fit thru the hole.
