TBI 454 Complete. Western NC

I have a complete TBI 454 out of my 87 ton truck. The reason I pulled it was no power over about 30 MPH. It ran great, starts easy, no check engine light. I put a 8.1 in its place. I was told 52000 miles is the correct mileage on the truck, but can't prove it. I now wish I tried a 750 Holley and MSD ignition system on the motor because after it was pulled, I was told the early TBI 454 didn't get enough air to run the motor on top end. For what the carb and ignition system cost, I got my other motor.

Selling complete from fan to flex plate. Throttle body to oil pan. I can set it up on a stand if you want to here it ran.

Engine sold! But I still have the TBI stuff.
I did not get the temperature sensor, but got the 02 sensor.

Throttle body, distributor, wiring , fuel pump and computer. All for $ 300.

Obviously you'd like this sold sooner rather than later but how long are you willing to hold on to this? I'm hoping to come up with enough scratch for that this spring. It would make a nice upgrade to my C30.

I'm not in a hurry to sell it. It's boxed up in my storage shed, out of sight, out of mind.

On second thought this may not work for me. TBI requires a crank and cam sensor, right? Or is there a way to fake that?

Doesn't use either one.

TBI is triggered by the distributor.

I'll do some more research on this then. I like the idea of going to TBI but don't have the pockets to support an off the shelf aftermarket solution.
