If it were up to me I’d have no more than a 3 to5 page service manual to properly hoist the Chevy 350 engine 1987 and then I would give thanks to that holy Chevy cross emble
I can’t remember this far if only short sweet and simple how to for a tear down manual would be in place if I ruled the city and my friend

Do I now remove bolts on disk things that seem to hold the piston crank?

If I undo these nuts does that allow for piston removal

Sorry about throwing you under the bus Ted, you just seem to be the least likely of us all here to be the queen of England, lol.

You know,oh, I guess you don't. If you do not disassemble the short block properly, mark all rod caps and main caps for proper position and orientation your short block will be junk also. BUY BOOKS!!!!! WATCH VIDEOS!!!!!! We CAN'T tell you every mistake you can possibly make. I think I've told you 3 times BUY A BOOK!!! And I'm not the only one. Please post pics of your trashed block and rods next week.

No offense but I already ripped out the engine the wrong way as you can tell but I still want to move forward but... I can tell for fact everyone of you poking fun Getting emotional instead of answering simple questions that y’all have very feminine ways . Just sayin bro ski . Can you guys help? I do have a Haynes and it sucks worst manual ever . If you guys have knowledge then share it if I were your father I’d make you pick a switch from out the woods and whip some of y’all’s hineys

Sounds like some rebuilder somewhere is going to get a box of junk for a core charge.

The only one needing to get a switch is the OP, for refusal to do due diligence prior and then trying to shame strangers into doing all the mental gymnastics for him.

This thread was cute at first, but now it's just flat pathetic.
