Has anybody installed one of the Tachometer Conversation Kits from either Brothers, LMC, or USA1.

https://www.brotherstrucks.com/Tachometer-Conversions/products/2629/

I just hit the Two year mark in my complete rebuild and looking at the gauges now. Thought about AutoMeter and the like but a grand for gauges is a touch much especially since this truck will never hit 140mph and if it revs to 10,000 I’ll be headed to the moon.

Real question is... The truck originally only came with the Speedo and fuel. Can I get this kit and buy the remaining gauges(temp, oil, volt) and get her working like factory.
Also getting completely rewired with a painless harness.

Thanks

I got the dash from Intellitronix. Pretty inexpensive. Comes complete with all hookups.

Need to use a several parts of current dash.

READ the ad carefully be fore you buy.

Instruction sheets available on their website.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve looked into Intellitronix. Just not a big digital fan. Wanting to stay analog if possible.

Yes you can. You can add any gauge you want. I have some spare gauges if you need them too. You just need to make sure the printed board matches the gauges you’re going for.
I love the way the auto meters look and I wouldn’t mind paying for them. What pisses me off is the outrageous amount they ask you to pay for the bezel.

I bought the LMC kit and put it in my 81. Fits nice, looks factory, everything works!

Its a complete cluster change. Won't work with 91 since you have a electronic speedo.

After reading many threads and watching videos on retrofitting new gauges into factor bezel, I opted to go the Intellitronix route too. The gauges mount into factory holes in the bezel. Easy retrofit. No more flimsy circuit panel either and twist in bulbs. I always get positive comments on them.

Thanks for all the input. I actually just got a factory cluster with the tach and all the gauges from a guy off eBay. Looks nice and should arrive today. Was still cheaper than getting the conversation kit.
