My next project appears to be replacing the front output seal and maybe the bearing on my transfer case. Its been in my garage parked but left it in 4wd. Seems to be leaking a lot more when it is in 4wd than in 2wd and seems to be coming from front driveshaft area.

Is this project do-able with the T-case in the truck? I haven't done this job before, so any tips appreciated. I think mine is the NP 205 case, but not sure of that either. Case seems to be cast iron. Apparently this year had a couple types.

Yes the seal and bearing are replaceable while it's in the truck, but unless there's noise or a bunch of play it's not necessary to do the bearing.

Looking at your picture it's an 80's truck and 80's trucks wouldn't come with a np203 if it's a cast iron case, it would be a np205. Np208 if an aluminum case.

Side note, on the back of the transfer case of the 205 there is a small cover with three bolts, between rear output and the big cover on the passenger side. This will tell you if it's an np205. 203's also have a large underdrive box I believe it's called between the main case of the transfer case and the transfer case adapter

Thanks for the tip. Found the small cover with three bolts so now I know which model.
