Is there an exploded view anywhere of the front end parts for a K20? Tie rod ends, drag link, ball joints, pitman arm, etc?

I'm trying to collect the parts to totally overhaul my front end when the axles are out being rebuilt. Do this so if something is backordered, out of stock or NLA, gives me time to locate it elsewhere.

Also....seems to me I saw a post on here where you can upgrade it to 1" threads?

Thanks.

Would front differential being different affect anything part wise? Like d44 vs d60 etc. And maybe a year difference? I can look in my 1980 shop manual when I'm home from work

I dont think it would matter much on the steering components. Just shocked there isn't a diagram on LMC, etc that has an exploded view.

I got most all of my parts from Summit. I used AC delco parts and yes I had to wait, bit you can measure all of them and compare. If you have that time like I did not a problem if something dosen't jive you can fix it

Its all new to me.....wish I could swap what I know about old 4-N cars for these squares. Had one 30 yrs ago but it was 3 yrs old and had 32k on it.....so didn't have to do anything but drive it.

Got the axles being redone so want to swap everything out while they are. Even that diagram is a tad confusing because it shows stuff not for an 85. I have the shop manuals....do any of them have a (year specific) exploded view listed? Every time I look up 'steering' I get pics of the column.

I'll check my 1980 when home. It's pretty good with exploded views sometimes

Is it just me, or does LMC's new website suck compared to the old one?

But is it the same as an 85?
Potentially. I couldn't see what would he vastly different unless you count a sway bar difference I read about before. Anything with similar specs should theoretically be unchanged. Or interchangeable. I think most parts if they changed were revisions that replaced outdated designs. I'll see what I can find when I get home. Someone might have a 85 manual, maybe put the 6ear in your title so someone with a relevant manual might have a diagram

Well, if you look at he LMC exploded view that jtridgley79 posted, PN #'s 1-6 are all for 73-80. 81-87 doesn't start til #7...which I think is a bunch of #2.
