LOL. Thanks everyone for the welcome. Man, I love the old square bodies. Great machines.
But.......getting ready to spend some on rebuilding an engine for it. Last one went about 11 years. Dropped an exhaust valve on #8. Broke the block, hole in the piston, beat the head to death and bent the connecting rod. This time I believe a main bearing twisted. still runs, but very sick.
Can't complain. She's been hauling a heavy load since day one. GVW is 6400#. Last time it crossed a scale at 8600#.

I hate to see that but sure am glad it's getting used & hasn't been put out to pasture...slip in another Big Iron & keep it working!

You're a fellow Chevrolet abuser. I've had 2.5 tons of demolition waste on my flatbed. Didn't even slow her down.

Wow truly impressive carnage, i am building an engine now, prices are high, used my truck for hauling hay for years, still doin the job. I love em to.
