Stepside Tailgate Paint

Hey Guys,
looking for ideas on how to keep the tailgate from rattling around and chipping/scratching the tailgate and inside of my freshly paint box. Thought about using 3M?

Welcome to the site. LMC has a kit that uses something like an old seatbelt bucket and clip setup. That would keep it from rattling, and you could loose the chains if you wanted to as there is a hidden cable option as well IIRC.
