Hi,
So i have an 83 k10, 4 inch lift riding on 33's
Steering isnt bad at all, just a tiny bit of play, nothing i really care about

So, i dont have a steering stabilizer. I dont know suspension well at all, and as far as i can tell these trucks didnt come with steering stabilizers.
What would one help me with?
Truck rides rough, took it down to a pit the other day and really realized how rough it is when your going over a tall grass field... bouncing up and down a ton at only 15-20 mph.
I dont think they help at all with that, do they?
Advantages/Disadvantages?
They dont seem too expensive for even a Rancho kit, how hard are they to install?

Thanks!

No they don't have any effect on the suspension ride quality.

They help to eliminate bump steer. When you hit bumps in the road with out a steering stabilizer the steering gets shoved this way and that way by the bumps and the truck wanders around according to which way the bumps and grooves in the road are throwing the steer tires.

The steering stabilizer is a shock mounted side ways on the front axle and is mounted on one end to the axle housing and the other to the tie rod. This keeps the steering from bouncing around and helps keep the steering tires direction on course.
