Gentlemen, I need a steering column for my 84 K30. Will a column with crude control work, or is the wiring harness different? Thanks .

I am guessing you mean "cruise" control - correct?

Yes it will work. The cruise control components are all external to the actual column and the wire is separate from all the other wiring. Just snip the wire if it gets in your way.

Oh that's great, thank you! My high beam switch is shot, and of course the horn is as well. I figured id just change out the whole mess. Great info , thank you!

I'm not quite understanding the column interchange list that you posted Retro, Will the steering column from a early 90's 3500 manual shift interchange into my 84 K2500 manual shift? Thank you.
