steering column question at tilt joint

The royal pain is the plastic housed ball bearings. I've got a messed up bearing in mine, and I don't think they make reproductions!

If you have not fixed your problem by now, you can find "Illustrated tilt column disassembly" by Oliver Scholz by putting in his name on your search engine. I followed it and was able to rebuild my entire tilt column for my 85 Silverado.
