So this is where we're at as of last night. We've only been at this for maybe three days over the last couple weeks. On top of that we are working on this after work so we only get a couple hours at a time. We both work in the same plant, but our days off are completely different.

That truck Is bad ass my son and I are currently looking to get a SB for his first truck. I was proud when he showed me a K20 he found on Craigslist yesterday.

Thanks, we think so too! I know I have it listed as a C10, because of the badge! It's actually a K10, the badge say's custom10. So far we have been able to remove every bolt except for a couple. The front passenger tub had the most rust. It is fun have the son/father thing going, we are both learning.

Bed is off, workng on engine, trans/transfer case removal. then will focus on the cab, and start cleanup!

I know it has been awhile, to hot outside to even think about working on the project. I did however get the transmission/transfer case removed and in the process of cleaning it up. I also purchased a 5.3l ls motor. so let the games begin.

Can this thread be moved to the Build section? Or do I need to startup a new one and link what I have already posted to a new thread. More pic's to come after the cab comes off. That's when the fun begins.

Welcome to the site. Looks like a solid cab to start with. How far do you plan on tearing it down? Hopefully you are bagging/labeling hardware as you go. It makes it a lot easier when you go looking for them later.

Cab is next to come off, only 7 bolts left 3 off which are the steering column. And yes everything is tagged/labeled and an excess of photo's some of which I haven't included.
