Square body newbie

I figured I would introduce my self, I currently don't own a square body.
I am from the east bay area and have owned numerous GM trucks but never a square body. I figured now is a better time then ever to get involved with a square body before they take off like the 67-72 trucks have. My current truck / shop truck which is currently up for sale is a 2007.5 GMC 3500hd Duramax CCLB dually. I am going to make some of scratch your head with what I am going to do. I am sure many will ask why get rid of a perfectly good late model dually.
I own a shop building pro touring muscle cars and fabricating things all of the time, so I am going to try to find the right truck and do a cummins swap with either a allison or 6 speed manual.
I am searching for the perfect truck to purchase. I am looking for a 81-90 c30/r3500 6.2 diesel 2 wheel drive truck. I am really looking for a very clean original truck that has not been altered. I hope some of you guys might be able to put me in contact with one. I also want to share my experience along the way as I do a quick swap on the truck.

Took me at least that long... and millions of miles looking at rough trucks.

Thanks guys, I just cleaned up my 07.5 to get it ready for sale. It's a nice truck and I'm sure I'll miss it but right after I got done cleaning it it threw a code. One more reason I'm burned out with it. I am really after a diesel title truck, it can have a gas motor in it but it's eventually coming out for a cummins swap. If there was a cummins swapped c30 or r3500 with a diesel title I'm all ears. My only gripe is that I don't trust other people's work unless there are a ton of build photos. Thanks 87 jimmy for keeping the look out, there used to be a time when you could find these dually everywhere in decent shape. The reason I'm after a diesel title is that I'm in the great state of tree huggers CALIFORNIA

C30

This c30 belongs to my dad and he wants to get rid of it. Its a 1978 though gots only 15000 miles on the original 350 has a three speed with the granny gear hydro boost brake booster and has a flat bed with dual rear wheels rust free except for the hood. Seat needs to be redone and the flooring as well dash is good and the door panels are good also. This is the only pic i got but can get more tomorrow located in southern california.

So I found one and picked it up. It's a 1984 c30 crew cab long bed dually best part it is a verified 48k original truck. I was in complete shock when I was looking at it and couldn't believe it hadn't been molested. It was a two owner truck and was originally used to haul a 69 camaro race car to and from the track. The truck came with a camper and that saved the bed from getting the hell beat out of it. The truck was out of LA Alhambra to be exact, it ended up in he high desert and some young guy bought it to tow with but decided against it and bought a ford diesel. I have already rubbed the truck out since these photos were taken. It looks pretty decent if you ask me. The camper shell is for sale and in great shape, it needs shocks and you can paint it to match.
