I have Line-X in my 2016 Ram and I'm really happy with it. On my K30, I'm going to spray the bed and on the top of the bed rails, but stop before it rounds over to the quarter panels so you don't see it from the side.

Here's mine...after smoothing out the bed and building the tunnel for the rear bags and bridge.

I went with a local spray in liner company called "UNIVERSAL" bedliners. I ended up having them spray a thicker coat, and went under the side rails.

On my Duramax I had Line-x, which faded after the first year and was imo overpriced for the thin layer that they applied. Line-x for a 1/2 standard length bed was $535.....Universal which hasn't faded in the last two years and has been applied twice as thick was $250 and was completely prepped and sprayed i. Under 2 hours. The Line- x crew took over 6 hours.....maybe that's why they overcharged me...lol

Damn. I wish they had a Universal installer up here. That sounds awesome.

Here is the LineX in my '81. I had it done back in 2000. It needs a good scrubbing, but still looks decent.

Did you replace the bed floor on your bed with diamond plate metal?

Yes I did
I redid the wood floor first in the first bed I was going to use
then I picked up a bed that was straighter and didn't want to switch it all over
and knew I was doing bed liner so I just put diamond plate in

I actually like that idea. The bed on my truck is rusted so I'm looking for a replacement.

If I ever want to put the wood back in I can pull 8 bolts and slide the diamond plate out

It just slid under the factory edge of the box where the first row of wood would have been
