This is the weekend for the 14th annual SETN (ALL GM trucks only) event.
Registration was all online, but spectators are welcome.
Registration closed at 1,550 trucks.

It is held at the Wilson County Fairgrounds, just north of exit 239 off of Interstate 40.
(This is east of Nashville)

It's a well run event.
Lots of cool trucks, food, awards in a nice area.
It will be hot as always in July. Plan accordingly.

I am one of the 1550 :D but not the square body. I am still a long way from done on that one. With any luck I will have it done for next year's but don't hold your breathe :p

If you all see my truck make sure to say hi or leave a note if I'm off gabbing to someone else.

I’m glad we got a chance to meet and chat. My drive wasn’t so long but I sure felt the heat on the ride home last night. I’m putting ac in the square and getting to these shows does wonders to re-energize you on getting some of these projects done.

I booked my spot on the next tailgate tour this weekend too so I’m aiming to have the square on the road by March. Fingers crossed lol

Anyone who hasn’t been to this show should give it some thought. The only complaints I’ve ever heard about it are about the heat but it’s July. It’s always hot in July

Yessir, glad you had a safe trip home. It was nice to meet you and your group there at SETN. It is a great event and anyone who likes these trucks should try to make it.
I hear ya on the AC as well. I was at a "crossroad" on mine. It's pretty much the last piece of the puzzle for my truck.
I will get it going hopefully in the next few days.

Hope to bump into you again at a future event somewhere.
Keep in touch & take care, Travis.

Missed it this year but planning on taking it in next year! If only able to attend one day, is Friday or Saturday the bigger day?

Saturday is the busier day. Lots of vendors and more trucks.
They also draw for money giveaways and raffle off a new LS engine.
Entry info packet has tickets for both. Or you can purchase a spectator ticket.

This ^. They don’t sell one day tickets either so you might as well hit both days. Spectator fee was $20 per person this year and to enter a truck was $50. Truck entry came with 2 passes so it’s basically $10 to bring the truck in if you go with a buddy. Well worth it to keep the cooler close :D

I’d like to. The guys putting that on invited me way back in March on the tailgate tour. It’s a decent haul for me to get over there. Should be some pretty scenery along the way though. They have as many trucks as SETN I heard.

Man, as good as SETN is, Fall Revival is 10 times better. Close to double the turnout, much better location (awesome fairgrounds area with an old 1800s mini-town and lots of old steam equipment around) with about half of the grounds being shaded, not to mention later in the year so not near as hot either. Revival is in my top 3 favorite events for the year
