I am not sure how close any of you are to Kentucky but we have a standing car cruise every 4th Saturday of the month. We have people from all over come out to this thing and the power tour stops by here usually. If you weren't aware of it take a look at the website.

I am local to this thing but my truck isn't anywhere near capable of going.

No worries! To be honest I do my best to avoid car shows and stuff. I get too excited and start spending all my money or get depressed that everyone has so much cool crap and I don't. lol

I went to the July show because they have a swap meet there with it looking for a beauty ring and came home empty handed. I didn't even walk through the cars but did see a nice c10 on my way out. It was in line to enter the show.

I entered my mustang in the first show this year. There were several squares but I didn't take any pics.

The give away raffle truck is a square though if you all want to enter. You don't have to be present to win I think. They're giving away a 32 Ford roadster and a 20’ enclosed trailer too. I bought a chance for all 3. The truck is an 84, 350 auto 2wd w/ ac and power windows and locks.

There must be something wrong with me because I don’t like Craigars, and everyone else seems to. Otherwise, it looks great. I wonder how the inside is. The Ford looks bitchin’, but it’s got a lot of upgrades. The ethical question to me is it still the same car? The old ones are so rough and simple, and technology is so much better now, but I think I’d still rather feel like I’m driving in 1932. The trailer is awesome.

The 3 were there today. That truck looks great! They had mirrors laying under it and it looks mint. The interior is pretty standard it looked like to me with a bench seat and column shift. That Ford was pretty neat. It had a hopped up Mercury flathead engine and the trailer is brand new.

They are giving away the c10 this month at the local cruise. I am going unless some emergency comes up and taking the 69. It's truck month so I shouldn't be alone. If anyone else can make it you should head over or buy your raffle tickets for the c10 now because they're giving it away on the 27th.

I went to the truck showcase this month at the cruise. There were at least 600 trucks and over 900 total at the last count I heard around 3.

I got some pics of a few squares for you guys. There were a bunch there. LS swaps, big blocks, 4*4s, you name it.

Not crazy about the doors or tail gate, but I won’t hold that against it.

If it was a dual swing gate would you be impressed? I know I would.

Like it or not, somebody put a lot of effort into that.

Well, I do enjoy a dual swing gate. It's no doubt that this took a lot of time and funds however, apart from the paint color the builder and I share none of the same tastes.

So kids remember, if you alter a vehicle to your tastes you might as well go all out and plan to be buried in it.
