Haha… It happens. The info posted here still stands though. If you want that 700R4 to live the longest I’d maybe get a trans temp gauge and make sure the cooler is up to snuff.

We have all been there. Just appreciate this as a simple mistake and not something forcing you to take something back apart again.

so after facepalming through my skull, it went on a nice long drive. hitting 65...eventually according to my gps. could physically touch the bit of floorboard that's been worn through to time so that's good.
