Haha… It happens. The info posted here still stands though. If you want that 700R4 to live the longest I’d maybe get a trans temp gauge and make sure the cooler is up to snuff.

how much of that heat is coming from the exhaust?? dynamat the floor and maybe heat shields on the exhaust. so much techlology since your truck was built!!

so after facepalming through my skull, it went on a nice long drive. hitting 65...eventually according to my gps. could physically touch the bit of floorboard that's been worn through to time so that's good.
