Not sure if these are special or not, “big hub”.

anyhow
When I get some more time off work I’m planning on hitting them up with some pool sand then hose them down with a bit to f black rattle can.

At that point pull the diff covers and have a look as to what ratio is labeled in the ring gear.

The pinion seal on the rear diff is already leaking a bit so that will have to be addressed as well.

Lots of work to do and plenty of motivation just lacking the time off of work.

looks like a d60 front and a d70 rear, 1 ton. that's the good stuff.

That's Incredibly small knuckles on that front to be a 60.
Not to mention, Chevrolet 60 would be kingpin. Not balljoint.
Front is a 10 bolt.

For the rear, a dana housing casting wouldn't have that kinda web. That's a 14b semi float. There is no full floating hub on the outside.

Yup, 14 bolt Semi Float and 10 bolt front. I'm building a 10 bolt for my truck also. Just take your time and do everything right. You don' want to get them together and get them in only to have to tear into them.

On a Side note I wouldn't use pool sand. Silica is VERY bad to breath in. Check your local hardware store. I buy recycled coal slag called Black Blast for $8 a bag and used a Harbor Freight 110lb blaster. Put 2 bags in and went through about 1/2 the tank for both axles.

Thank you tube truck.

Will be picking up some black blast.
Typically I’m pretty cautious and always dawn out with full respirator, but will take your advice and pick up some black blast.

thank you

Your other parts truck had the Dana 44 with the large hubs. It probably also has a full float 14 bolt in the rear. This axle does have the correct parking brake cables for the Suburban though.
