For sale is an extremeaxlesales.com 6-lug conversion hub for the 14 bolt ff. They were on my rig for about 1 year.

Hubs and rotors w/milled centers to fit hub are $260, shipping included. These rotors are not at your parts store.....I spent a day with access to the back parts aisles at Oreilley's looking till I caved and ordered them.....lol.

I didn't even know such a set up existed. So this isn't only a 6 lug hub conversion, but also part of a rear disc brake conversion also??? Damn, now I wish I had kept that 14b FF 3.73 rear end I had.

Yup, you need disc brake conversion for this hub to work.

You can make these for drums as well. just need access to a lathe and mill. I did it years ago on my 93 GMC. I didnt buy any parts, just made them fit. Would have saved alot of work to go this route.

This is a unique product I wasn't even aware of existed. So, just so it's here for reference, I'm not deteting it. I've just changed the Title to start with SOLD. Thanks for the update.

Ok, I am gonna look at their site, but let me make sure I understand: They make a kit that can take my 3/4 ton 14ff rear axle and make it 6 lug??? If so, I am gonna do a little dance as that will save me some money.

Yep, hold on tight to your ass and checkbook, cuz you'll feel like you just got a bite taken out of both, but yes, that's what exists. A 6 lug FF conversion. And then you have to do Disc Brake conversion too which knocks off about 40lbs per side IIRC.

I have a 14b Semi Float C clip rear end in one of my 85 3/4 tons. I've been told, I can get 6 lug axles out of a 4x4 88-98 14b SF and they will fit my Squarebody 14b SF, as long as I get the backing plates, brakes and drums off the same 6 lug axle. That Sf will be plenty strong for a 1/2 ton.

SF is a GREAT upgrade to the crapy 10 bolt. Best you can hope for without lathe wirkd and going to a FF 14. The SF is a rock solid rear end and they are dirt cheap if you look hard enough,.

I did the FF14 conversion to my old 92 Z, But I michined down the center hubs and drilled the drums for a 6 lug pattern. Cheap adn effective. I like the challenge over just swapping in another SF14.
