Where in Calif? I spent my teen years in SoCal in the early 60's. Good times in those days. Beautiful girls, the beginnings of all the 60's music, and great weather.
I love Carlsbad, killer little surf town. About 45 minutes from meWelcome from Washington State!
But soon to be in Carlsbad Ca.
She lookin over your shoulder as you're typing this??......lol
We lived in Palos Verdes, just a little South of Hermosa Beach. In the 60's, Temecula on the old two lane was a sleepy little farm and ranch town. I'm sure it has grown since I left SoCal in 1968. Used to go fishing at Lake Elsinore quite often after the lake started to refill after it went dry from 1950 thru 1958.Born and raised in Hermosa Beach. That is so rad!! I know PV very well, I used to surf indicators and haggerty's all the time. My father in law lived in Temecula since 70 and describes it the same way you do. 2 lane highways farm land and horse ranches. You would lose your mind if you saw it now. It's like Redondo and Torrance. We lived in Palos Verdes, just a little South of Hermosa Beach. In the 60's, Temecula on the old two lane was a sleepy little farm and ranch town.
