This week I undertook the task of changing headers on my 1 ton and installing new rad.

In the process of installing the headers, I discovered they interfered with my PTO on my gearbox.

So naturally I had to drain the gearbox, remove, cover, refill.

Ever since, there seems to be a squeeking in the gear box whenever moving forward.

I bought a five gallon pale of 80w-90 for it and didnt realize u til I got home it was GL5 and I've read that you should only use GL4. But I used it anyway.

When idling the truck sounds fine. Reverse fine. In forward gear and as speed increases, the squeeking increases.

Any input greatly appreciated guys.

This Squeek wasn't in the truck yesterday when I pulled her in the garage, all unchanged was headers, gear oil, and rad. And the squeek is right under the hump
