All,
i am thinking of adding a sleeper to my 1988 crew cab. i know there are two styles, one with an accordion boot and the other style you must have a sliding glass window to access the sleeper, there is a boot, but it just sits near the cab, but it doesn't seal against it.
i plan on getting the style with a boot and no side windows, that being said, i was wondering how bad the road noise will be. i have thought about lining the inside with sound deadening material, and then having an upholstery shop glue head lining material inside of it to keep noise down.
i am asking this to see if any one else has a sleeper on their truck and if road noise was / is a problem.
thanks
