started getting rid of the silliness....grille guard and tool box are gone, decals are next. will be putting a 2" lift, just enuff to get some decent 33" mud tires under it.
later in the yr i will be swapping the stepper box off my old truck onto this one

That was a screamin deal. Original rcsb 4x4 GMT 400s, low miles in that condition are easily $10k + USD around here. Even if it has a 4.3, which is a good motor anyways.
Being a newer model 400 stick, does it have a NV4500? GM started putting them in half tons in 93 iirc, in place of the Getrag 1 piece 5 speeds. But idk if they all got ‘em, maybe light duty V6s still got the aluminum 5 speed. (Way better shifting than a NV, but purported to be maligned although I put a lot of miles on a couple of them with no issue.)

This pickup has 3.55 gears. The level kit was in it when I bought it. I put 275/70R18’s on it because I thought the stock size 275/65’s looked a little small with the leveling kit. My business also has another ‘19 F150 3.0 Powerstroke with 3.31 gears and the same level kit and tires and there isn’t any difference in mileage or towing between the two. The 10 speed auto really makes the gearing not as important.

Yeah that 10-speed is awesome. My GF has a Coyote/10-speed 2wd '22. Idk what gears it has but it's stout. I specifically searched for a Ram with 3.92s, with the 8-speed it's a great combo and decently efficient for what it is

My daily for past 12ish years. My grand dads 76 F250. Eat your hearts out ford haters. Mild built FE with a grunt cam. It's loud & obnoxious, 8 mpg going downhill, and scares the hell out of new car drivers.

No regrets at all. I've loved this truck since before I knew anything about cars. I'm quite promiscuous about my 4x4s. Hard to not be when even my stupid Jeep is part AMC, Chrysler, XJ, Ford, Chevy and even Peugeot, or was. Took the french bicycle makers garbage out.

@SirRobyn0 I'll gladly take one of those Dodges in the 3/4 ton shortbed flavor. I'd love to put my old man's 62 Powerwagon body on it. Upgrade/update a bunch of stuff in 1 swoop.

pretty happy with it so far, no surprises. it did take awhile to find it, i was surfin' the ads for 'bout a year and a half before finding this one.
trans is a 3500, same as my stepper. as i stated, lotta miles on my stepper, but never had a single trans issue...hopefully this one is just as good
haven't driven it hardly, my son will be using it so we can pull his firebird into the shop for awhile.
first v6 i ever owned myself, had a couple inliners and my wife had a 2.8 s-blazer once. being a vortec, the hp and torque are pretty close to the tbi 350 in my stepper. i do notice the stepper does take off better than the v6 truck, although the 6 does get a little better mpg's
