My "daily" is currently off the road, just sitting there in the garage collecting dust waiting for me to spend a couple hours putting it back in service. Just needs turbo seals (replacing the whole thing with one I had rebuilt a while ago) but I have been renovating my new house since March and am currently in the process of moving so it'll have to just sit there and get dusty for another couple weeks. Hopefully the mice don't kill it before then. 2005 Subaru Legacy GT, stage 2.5. Fast and fun, but high miles at this point, got an engine on the stand waiting for a full build when I have time to breathe after the move, going with forged internals so I can go full on stage 3+.

So I've been driving the GMC pig every day in the meantime. '08 2500 w/t with a 6.0, no frills true stripper truck with rubber floors, crank windows, manual t-case etc. She's ugly but is good at getting work done when I need it

Wish they made more like that

Quad headlights like that are cool IF you can turn them all on at once.
If you lose half of em in bright mode then I think thats weaksauce yeah.

Can you run em all at once old boy?
You got 8 eyes like a spider?
Hmmm?
Easy relay mod fixes that. Did it to my 89 pickup

.. been driving this a lot lately. I would say it's a semi-daily driver. 1978 K5. This beast turns more heads than I would expect. It's burly and rowdy.

The W/T or the Subaru? Lol I'm assuming the GMC. Unfortunately I'm getting ready to sell the thing. It's getting to the point where I'm starting to have to replace everything, and the frame is getting "thin" despite no holes. I'll be looking for another just like it, or similar. Honestly when I bought this truck I thought I was getting into something I could not fall in love with, but sadly I will miss it greatly when it's gone. No frills whatsoever besides the CD player (could've still had an AM radio in '08), but man I have whooped the ever-living snot out of that thing and it keeps on ticking, been a true work horse. The 6.0l and the 6l90e have never disappointed (as much as I HATE when people swap them into squares, in this truck it is just right). And I love that I don't have to worry about making the thing uglier. The body is all smacked up and spray painted, but man she still runs strong as ever. If I'm out back hauling wood and I dig the door into a stump, well whatever I'll pop the panel off and kick it back out from the inside lol. Nobody who buys it will ever be mistaken thinking it's a nice looking truck, but it's set up so perfectly do just work the hell out of it and put it away wet. Ugly, yes, but I feel it's the last of the true W/T breed. Newer W/Ts are all carpet and power windows and push button 4x4. This was the last of the "real" trucks as far as I'm concerned even if it is IFS. It has never once let me down, and I have put this thing through sh!t that I figured a 1 ton couldn't handle. There's something to be said about having a powerful sturdy truck that you don't give two fcuks about, it'll sure get work done. The overweight stuff I've towed, stumps I've puled, snowbanks I've jamed that plow into at like 40mph, firewood treks into the woods while not fit for street driving only to make it home with too much wood and the door held shut by the seatbelt because I accidentally jumped a stream ad a log without realizing. Can't believe the damn thing is still street legal. Time to move on... heh. I'll let it be someone else's job to truly drive it into the ground, I don't have the heart to be the one to send it to its grave (or wallet with todays prices, blows my mind I can sell it for more than I picked it up for after 3 years of nothing but pure good ole fashioned truck abuse that borders on assault lol). Fairly low miles too, should be an easy sell. I'm dreading it going away, and my 5yo daughter is not happy about it either. But hey it has to be done.

Not my daily, but got a bunch of stuff sorted out and took it out yesterday. Our local vw club has a cruise tomorrow and would like to make it, weather permitting.

I actually daily all 3 but use the 18 GMC if I have to go a distance as it’s the only one with cruise and overdrive.
The Mrs will only ride in that
too as she doesn’t like my old rides

Got 2 right now, since we bought the daughter a new Kia (1st non-GM car) for being a straight A student in H.S.
