Hello GMSB!

New user Russ joining the fray. Just started working on my 1986 C10. I've been scouring the forums for info, and GMSB seemed like a great spot to jump in.

My 86 didn't have the original engine in it when I bought it, but I just loved to look. It has a blown head gasket, slipping transmission, and it leaks from just about everywhere. Since I am "sheltering in place", now seemed like a great time to pour some love and attention into the old girl.

I may ask a naive question or two (been known to do that), but I am happy to be here!!

Yeah. Thanks!! I finally got tired of playing musical cars every time I wanted to work on something. I just enjoy working on things. I guess it is my therapy to some degree.

Russ, hello from Greene county, Mississippi!

I believe my '74 C10 was sold new up closer to you, back in '74. Its my first square body, although lots of friends (etc) have had them, so I wasn't going into it totally blind, lol.

I've only been here (on this forum) for a few days, but seems to be a good bunch of folks here.
