I have a 79 long bed that I'm rebuilding and I'm wondering if I need to go with bigger u-joints when I put it together. It has a 14 bolt ff and a Dana 60 front. 37 inch tires. I will be running 4.56 gears with Eaton Trutracs in both. I'm putting a big block in it with around 600hp, th400 and a NP205. Will the 1350 in the rear and 1310 in the front be enough or should I upgrade to 1410? I have to have new drivelines built anyway so if I need to go bigger now is the time. Just looking for opinions.

I put all 1410’s in my Blazer, fork weak links! lol

That said, I ran 1350’s in my old truck with 44’s and never had an issue (4spd and auto).
