I need the shifter needle for an 85 C10 with a 700r4 overdrive transmission. I broke the shifter needle while working on the 85.

@custodian,

You can get the shift indicator from Classic Industries. They have the regular ones like mine, '74 that are down behind the lower dash just above the steering column, and the kind with overdrive, like it's some extra gear I think i.e. P R N D3 2 1. Where as mine would be P R N D 2 1. Maybe Ecklers may have them as well. Also, if you have the gear indicator where its a clear plastic part the sits up on top of the upper column housing up near the steering wheel, I know where to get them for the 700R4, Classic Industries also has those to. I just looked and Ecklers has them for '84-'87 Chevy GMC trucks for $38.99 each. Type, shift indicator for '84-'87 Chevy GMC trucks. They also have the kind like mine that goes down behind the dash near the lower part of the steering column for a 700R4.

He may be after only what I call the trolley as shown below.

If so, its a member only kind of deal, but the entire assembly from LMC was under 30 bux.

That's what I was looking for. Easier to just buy the entire piece.
